Guide 4 · Keeping score
Not because the numbers are hard, but because nobody writes them down. My ROI is a free journal inside Signals Room: you type an operation, it draws the curve. No subscription, no spreadsheet to abandon.
Almost every trader who loses money can tell you how they lost it. Very few can tell you how much. Without that number there is nothing to correct: you cannot fix a strategy you have never measured, and you cannot tell bad luck from a bad habit.
The usual answer is a spreadsheet. It works, for about three weeks - then you skip a day, then a week, and the file is a graveyard with four rows in it. My ROI exists for that gap: a journal that lives where you already log in, that does the arithmetic you were doing by hand, and that costs nothing.
A journal dies of friction. If recording a trade costs you a minute of scrolling to find the right cell, you will not do it - not because you are lazy, but because at 23:40 after a stop loss nobody opens a spreadsheet.
So the whole design is one screen with seven fields, and most of them you can leave empty:
| Field | What it is | Can I skip it? |
|---|---|---|
| Date | When the trade closed | No, but it is pre-filled with today |
| Pair / market | What you traded (BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT...) | No - it is the label you will filter by later |
| Invested | How much you put in | Yes: leave 0 and you simply get no percentage |
| Profit / loss | The result in money, minus sign for a loss | No - this is the number everything is built on |
| Fee | The commissions you actually paid | Yes, it is optional |
| ROI | The percentage | It is calculated for you, and you can still correct it |
| Comment | What went right or wrong | Yes - but the people who write here are the ones who improve |
You can also keep the journal on your phone. Same page, one screen, nothing to install.
As soon as there is more than one row, three things appear:
When a signal closes, you can record your result from the signal itself: the pair and the date arrive already filled, the fee is calculated from your size, and the entry stays linked to that signal. Do it consistently and after a couple of months you have something rare - your own execution of the same signals everyone else receives, with your entries, your exits, your mistakes.
That is the difference between "the engine is at 60%" and "I am at 45% with the same signals": one is a statistic, the other is a lesson.
Honestly, it is for these people:
It is not for someone looking for a robot that trades for them: this is a notebook, and a notebook only helps people willing to write in it. If you want automatic execution, that is a different, optional feature you switch on yourself.
Two reasons, both simple. A journal costs us almost nothing to run - no market data, no orders, one table and a chart - so charging for it would be charging for a text file. And there is a second reason we prefer to say out loud: when enough people use it, the averages tell us what actually happens to those who follow the signals - not what the engine produced, but what real people managed to take out of it. We may publish those averages one day, in aggregate and anonymous form. Never a single account, never a name.
What this page is not saying
My ROI does not make you profitable, and it is not advice. It measures what you do; what you do with the measurement is your decision. The only guarantee is the boring one: a trader who writes down every operation knows more about their trading than one who writes down none. Leveraged trading can lose the whole amount you put in.
If you are starting from zero, the order is: measure in R first, then read what leverage really does, then how to size a position. My ROI is where all of it ends up - the place where the numbers land.
Yes, and not "free for a trial". You create an account and My ROI is there, with no subscription and no payment method attached. It is a journal: it needs no market data to run, which is exactly why we can keep it free.
No. You can record your own trades - whatever you trade, on whatever exchange. If you also follow our signals, you can attach an entry to the signal it came from in one click, but it is optional: the tool works the same without it.
Your entries are yours: they are shown only to you (and, for support reasons, to the admin of the platform). We never publish an individual account. What we may publish one day is the average of all users, in aggregate and anonymous form - never a single trader and never your name.
No. My ROI is a notebook, not a broker: it has no exchange connection, it cannot place an order and it does not touch a single euro or dollar of yours. If you want automatic execution there is a separate, optional broker feature you switch on yourself.
Yes - that is one of the reasons it exists. The pair is just a label you choose: you can mix Binance, Bybit and a spot wallet in the same list, and the curve will be the sum of everything. A spreadsheet does that too, but only if you keep updating it.
